DEAD WORLD PREQUELS: RAPHAEL AND KANE

Raphael Vega wasn't always a vampire. There was a time when he was just a soldier. Kane Vega used to be a great surgeon. He vowed to do no harm, until he was turned into an Other and sent into battle.

The brothers survived the war, but it cost them their family. Now there's only two things left to do: Get their discharge papers and seek revenge. When they arrive in the Republic of the Floridian Islands, the documents are nowhere to be found. Instead, they are ambushed and imprisoned.

Tortured and starved, the brothers hover between death and madness. It soon becomes clear that the only way out of their prison cells is via a casket. Not an unpleasant prospect for a vampire, but for an Other, madness is the only way to go.
