Dead on a Rifle

Josephine Stuart and her Aunt Clara feel the urge to look into the murder of Josephine's fiance David's friend, Eddie Garrett,who mysteriously drowned in one foot of water on toop of his rifle. Through scary times and arduous labor, Josephine and Clara are undaunted in their search for the person or persons responsible for Eddie's death. Flushing out a murderer isn't the easiest thing to do, especially when other serious crimes are distracting the ladies from the main event. Luckily, Josephine's basset, Solow, is not easily distracted. He marches at Josephine's side into a desperate situation.The lovely Aptos village will never be the same.
