Dead Men Don't Jog

On September eleventh of 2001, Alan Flarke was in a motel with his girlfriend, not in his office, when the planes hit. He took advantage of the situation and killed the girlfriend, then disappeared with five million in company funds. With money and fake identities, his life became a no rules game. When he was spotted jogging in Chicago by a former neighbor, Maria Hart, Chicago's pluckiest red-headed insurance investigator gets called in. The more she investigates, the more she takes the case personally. And, the more she learns about Alan Flarke, the more she realizes he's become a socio-pathic killer.
