Attorney and exotic fish fancier Rebecca Schwartz is looking forward to relaxing in picturesque Monterey, California, with her friend Marty, and visiting the world-famous aquarium where Marty works. But the peace is soon shattered....

While Rebecca marvels at the amazing kelp tank, a dead body wearing Marty's jacket floats into view. It's Marty's boss, the woman who's been sleeping with her husband. And although Marty denies her guilt, there's a crystal-clear motive and shocking evidence to the contrary.

Rebecca takes on Marty's leaky defense. But the accused is as quiet as the deep, so Rebecca has some fishing to do for clues.
