Nothing spoils a party like murder...

A frantic call from their friend Diamond brings New Orleans private detectives Charmaine and Jessi Joliet to a Mardi Gras costume party. The good times stopped rolling when a prominent local politician and businessman dressed as "Chuckles the Clown" is found dead. His last joke fell flat. When Diamond is accused of the murder, Charmaine and Jessi must unmask the real killer. What do real estate fraud, gentrification, and seances have to do with the crime? The sisters fight off angry ghosts to discover why Chuckles reached a DEAD END.
