When Detective Rowan Mallory recruits Daisy and her ex-fiancé, Emile Reis, to help with a case, she jumps at the chance. The fact it's a Valentine's Day exclusive art auction party with a who's who guestlist has nothing to do with her enthusiasm, however. But any chance she might have to rethink her relationship with tall, blond and regal is set aside when one of the guests ends up dead.

With INTERPOL, the FBI and Vermont state police all battling for control of the situation and expensive artworks going missing on top of the homicide, Daisy does her best to solve the mystery while wrangling Emile's nasty sisters, the Hawthornes and Nelson Delamonte. But can she find out who did it before the killer gets away with stolen art--and murder?
