Darkworld 1 – Will Black’s Story

In Darkworld the United States is under the control of Communist China. On their 12th birthday every American is fitted with a pain belt that can be activated at a moment's notice by any Chinese Administrator. America is quiet now and the Chinese are secure but there are some in the American Autonomous Region of China who still resist. This is Will Black's story. Author's NoteThe idea for Darkworld came about when this author was rejected for three jobs in five days. I decided to construct a world that was darker than the one we live in today. A few weeks into filming the show "Dallas" Larry Hagman went to the director and said "how bad can I make this guy J.R. Ewing?" and the director came back with "you can make him as bad as you want". I used this principle with Darkworld. Dark things happen to many of the characters both Americans and Chinese and it is a world where people do very bad things. If you are a person of gentle sensibilities then you may not be comfortable with reading this book.
