Dark Generations: Rise of the Mage Knight

Glenn, son of Sir Monguard, has one dream: to be a knight like his father. His hopes are overshadowed when, after years of war, he learns that his father has died. Struggling on with life, Glenn meets Sir Trylian, who takes him as a squire and trains him as a knight. Glenn is forced to rethink his path to knighthood when Tamarack decides to train Glenn in the art of magic. As years go by, Glenn meets the mysterious Promthanius and the fabled, ruthless Immortal Shadow. On his path toward knighthood, Glenn learns that a dark seraph is trying to be reborn to enslave magic and humans alike.
