Things were changing once more for 17 year old Ariek Chylde. Haunted by horrible yet strangely familiar recurring nightmares, and forced by her unsympathetic father to move yet again to a new town, Ariel hoped to find in Salem, Georgia, what had eluded her elsewhere. But what she doesn't know is that her nightmares are more real and more deadly than she ever dared imagine. And that the dark secret she 's been carrying inside her for 17years is about to break free, setting in motion a chain reaction that threatens to engulf the once-quiet town of Salem with an ancient and terrible evil.
