Damage Done

Civil Sardana has been sick for a long time, and she's finally going to get the cure that will save her life: Leaving her humanity behind. Henrik Hock has lived in the City of Orphans since he was a teenager and thinks he's seen it all. Until Civil comes into his life, a ray of sunshine determined to be herself at all costs. Civil and Henrik feel a pull to the other that they can't ignore. Even when all the signs say they shouldn't be together, or when the laws and threat that Henrik lives under make things even harder. The two of them are thrown together when the vampire that turned Civil is murdered. They have to figure out what happened before the Wardens decide that Henrik had something to do with it.
