Sometimes nothing makes sense.Barlas and Trun, two apprentice wizards, decided that time away from the academy spent with the eclectic Master Wizard Gefral would be a good idea. This was before the arrival of a strange pillar of stone over Lake Redstone. A large structure, black, and of unknown origins to their world.The two wizards cannot understand why their master doesn't at all seem worried. Not even those from the academy that have investigated the structure could explain it. Then in a most abrupt action, Master Gefral leaves in what will be the last night of normalcy for the two young wizards.A great cataclysm approaches but surviving the night alone in the tower will be the most difficult time of their lives.
