This second trilogy of three further short stories continues the trials and tribulations undergone by Mr. Big, a well known northern would-be hoodlum in and around the Leeds area and his associates as he tries to fix a greyhound race, hide a criminal on the run and fix a charity raffle in his favour. In all of these crimes he is warned by his trusted bodyguard Barney that he should be wary of engaging the services of Billy and Fred, two local lads who have an aptitude for fouling up.
Story 1 The Greyhound
Mr. Big is encouraged by a worker at the local greyhound racing track to nobble the favourite and put his money on another dog. Their ingenious method of putting the favourite out of action is thwarted when Billy and Fred become involved.
Story 2 The Fugitive
A local criminal has escaped from gaol and asks Mr. Big to help hide him from the law until he can recover some money he and his partner in crime stole some years back. Will the fugitive pay Mr. Big or will Billy and Fred intervene yet again.
Story 3 The Raffle
Seeing a chance to make some money from a charity raffle and get himself some good public relations Mr. Big instructs Billy and Fred how to make sure the winning ticket is one of his. Things go awry on the night of the raffle when Billy and Fred get involved in an altercation with two young ladies.
