Crazy Stories from Kazakhstan

Teddy bears! Hidden treasure! Ballerinas! Magic sandwiches!  Get ready for some of genuinely wild stories from Kazakhstan. Every year in Almaty, young writers gather at the StudyRoom Language Center to take part in a very special writing competition. They are given one hour to write a completely original short story based on four secret photos. A panel of judges then chooses the winning writers, who take part in special workshops and masterclasses to further develop their writing skills. These are their stories.
