Scarlet Jane struggles to recover following her counter with the East Texas Blood Coven and the Hellspawn known as the Seventh Son. Left incapacitated by her injuries, Scarlet spends several weeks recovering, aimlessly wandering the Agency in an effort to adapt to life within the Supernatural world. What she doesn't expect is a plea for help to arrive from the Hill Country Kaldr. Elliot Winters, the clan's leader, calls for a Hunter's aid-and though the request is riddled with mystery and ambiguity, Scarlet will never refuse to help someone in need, especially if that someone might potentially be in danger.
