Coinspinner's Story

The gods thought it a fine jest when they forged the Twelve Swords of Power and gave them to mere mortals to fight over. The jest turned sour when men learned that the Swords could kill the gods; now the gods are gone, and the Swords are scattered among mortals.

Prince Murat of Culm holds Coinspinner, the Sword of Chance, which brings untold good fortune to its owner. But Coinspinner changes owners at its own whim, and soon it leaves Murat for another.

The Sword's new master faces many rivals. Warriors, wizards, princes, thieves...all seek the powers of the Sword of Chance. Who will hold Coinwinner next--and for how long?
