About This Book

The daughter of the President of the United States, Lainey Adams, code named Daisy, is kidnapped in London by a maniacal terrorist, Bakir al-Ajam, who takes her and her Secret Service guard, Nicky Barker, to Aleppo in Syria where he intends to establish a new caliphate under the banner of a revived ISIS. In addition to ransom demands, Bakir al-Ajam has visions well beyond mere kidnapping. He makes a bargain with North Korea. In return for helping him by supplying fissile material and nuclear development assistance, he allows the North Koreans to establish a naval base. President Frank Adams is confronted with a dual challenge: rescue his daughter and prevent the North Koreans from establishing a foothold in the Mediterranean. Enter SEAL Team Six who are tasked with rescuing Daisy. The team rescues both Daisy and Agent Barker but are met with overwhelming force. The fighting rages on despite the team sustaining wounds. Chief Petty Officer Mary McGovern, the team sniper and first woman in the SEALs is wounded while laying cover fire for the SEAL's exfiltration. When the situation looked dire for the team, the exfiltration takes on an unusual turn. The story illustrates a rarely discussed side of the SEALs, viz., the heartwarming relationship between team members as they support one another after the action concludes.
