Cliff-Hanger

After hiking the Cohab Canyon trail in Capitol Reef National Park, the author decided this cliff was the perfect place to push someone to his/her death. Like her protagonist, she was hiking with her brother at the time. This short story of approximately 4200 words and features the odd crime-solving team of an obstetrician and a middle school earth science teacher.

Elena Santangelo also writes the novels of the Possessed Mystery Series and penned Agatha Award winner DAME AGATHA'S SHORTS. "Cliff-Hanger" was also translated into Japanese to appear in Hayakawa's Mystery Magazine.
