About This Book

In the state of Maine, a family of three, Ed Blake, his daughter, Susan, and his wife, Anne, decide to live in a house that was built during the 1800s. The real estate agent is eager to sell them the house, and the Blakes soon discover why. After the family moves in, strange and chilling events begin to take place as the presence that lives in the house begins to take control of Ed Blake and his wife and daughter. The events of the story become more involved as the presence within the house becomes attracted to Ed, and it is not until an ominous set of circumstances occur, during which the house asserts its malicious will, that Ed is finally able to face his darkest fears as he confronts the presence within the house and learns the mystery that has surrounded it since the house was built.
