In 1997, 16-year-old Clarisa Montgomery disappeared. She was legally dead. Yet, throughout a series of life-altering crises, childhood friend Jake Cotter saw visions of Clarisa guiding him as a guardian angel might do. Visions or delusions? He chose visions.
