Children of Dusk

Seven years ago, an accidental fire had left Timothy Hansen horribly scarred. Now, at fourteen, Tim wants nothing more than to get through high school and be left alone. But when a bullying incident triggers his latent magical abilities, he finds himself recruited into the Children of Dusk people born with the ability to Weave the five elements together to create myriad magical effects. Unfortunately, there are other Weavers in the world, and Tim has caught the attention of someone very dangerous. He and his new friends are in a race against time, for this hidden world of magic might hold the key to restoring his family or shatter it for good.
