Child of the Outcast

After breaking the law by saving a Lycan, Lisbeth's attempt to flee is thwarted when she is captured and imprisoned by the vampire hunter, Arthur. Awaiting her fate, Lisbeth believes that her werewolf lover, Knight, is dead and she falls into a deep depression, unable to care about her own impending doom. When the vampire Council release her on a technicality, discovering that the Lycan she spared was just a child, she suddenly finds herself free once more. But there are still dangers to be faced. With her friends and those she can trust, reduced to a fraction of what they were, Lisbeth suddenly finds that things are much worse than she could ever have thought. Turned vampires are beginning to revolt against the strict rules imposed on them, and when it erupts into open violence and they carry out a massacre of born vampires, kidnapping Othello in the process, Lisbeth must make a stand. Taking over as the head of the Order, she must somehow find a way to save herself and her fellow vampires. But what can she do to change the path of fate? And does she have the strength to lead when she has lost so much?
