Deception, intrigue and murder come to town when a sinister art trafficking organization sets up shop in Dunbarton. No one is who they appear to be. Masks are being worn, roles are being played, and both Good and Evil are walking the streets. The trouble is, no one is sure which is which.
On a sunny Saturday in July, a large RV pulls into the drive of Chris and Alicia Mallory's farm. Inside are his sisters who are there as location scouts for a television show – a least, that's what they've told Chris. But like many people in Dunbarton that summer, it's a mask they are wearing. The reality involves art theft, forgery and trafficking on an international scale, a reality that soon proves deadly. Before long, Chris and Alicia are on the trail of a master criminal, known only as The Chameleon, who is hiding in plain sight.
