By Dragon's Light

-In Book II of the Arohanui Series, Arohanui has been plunged back into chaos, and the royal hounds of Kuri te Aroha must battle some of their darkest nightmares to save those who have been stolen from them. As the Queen Mother and her sister Kili lie gravely injured, Bridie and her devoted friends must stalk evil in a new guise, discovering in the process a land where not all is what it seems to be, and from whence not all will leave unchanged. No one could have imagined a foe more fearsome than the Shedragon but here the hounds are faced with Behemothbats, who seem to have arisen straight from the mythical depths of hell. Creatures that strike in the dead of night, sucking the life force from their victims, leaving nothing more than lifeless husks as evidence of the horrors they have perpetrated. But where myth had spewed its darkness, it also gave forth its light, and Unicorns come forward to aid the hounds in their quest. These magical creatures recognise in the Queen of Arohanui something her foes have overlooked, something Bridie will need to master if this evil is to be conquered once more.
