Buried Threat

A sickening mystery of missing teenagers swirls around a local winery. Deputy Sheriff Jesse Crater is caught between a rock and Pinot wine grapes. His boss, the county sheriff, is running for re-election amidst the prolonged series of missing teenagers. An angry public wants the sheriff's head, and the cases solved. Their children, if alive, returned. An unlikely suspect is jailed. But the disappearances continue while he's behind bars. Finally a ransom. Crater and his team begin closing the noose. Until Deputy Crater himself is abducted. Alone and battered, Crater must escape to put an end to the mystery.
