Fogle and Brak's liaisons with Jarla the Brigand Queen deepen on their journey through Bish and into Two-Ten City where more danger awaits. The underlings iron grip in the City of Bone begins to loosen as Royal allies scheme with one another to take their city back. But Master Sidebor shows no mercy to the want to be usurpers. War is coming and the first great battle for Bish begins in the Badlands.
