Breaking the Barrier

Book One: Breaking the Barrier, is the first of five novels in the Conor and the Crossworlds YA fantasy adventure series. The story introduces the protagonist, Conor Jameson, a normal kid from California. It also introduces Purugama, a giant flying cougar who takes Conor on a journey of discovery. Purugama is one of the Champions of the Crossworlds, protectors of everything good in his dimension. He is very powerful, and he can talk and cast magical spells.

Conor's uncle's death has devastated him. It's up to Purugama to create magical scenes and throw Conor into the circumstances so he might realize what happened to his uncle. The story in Book One sets the stage for the other four novels in the series.
