Break Away

For Allie, life is about taking care of family and trying hard to be the best daughter she can. In her small Southern town there isn't a lot of trouble to get into, anyway. But one night, in a drunken rage, her father destroys all of that, leaving her hurt, confused and homeless. As it turns out, being a good girl isn't enough. Then Seth rolls into town, tall and fun and questioning everything she has ever taken for granted. He is interesting and sweet and it doesn't hurt that he's the hottest guy Allie has ever seen, but he's only there for the summer and Allie just can't handle a romance on top of everything else. But maybe fate has dropped him into her life at just the right time - to help her remember her own dreams and to be her friend when everyone else has turned away. And when tragedy strikes, he's the only one who can give her the courage to break away.
