Boys Who Slay Dragons

Samuel was a normal boy of eight. Life was pleasant for him, he lived without care and loved playing daily with his brother's Judah and Cadan. The three boys know of nothing outside of their small town of Ur and live in harmony with their family and neighbors. One morning, as the boys are playing in the fields near their home, they notice their cattle are missing. Upon further discovery, their father determines that a dragon has claimed their lands as its own. Father understands this ancient calling for his oldest son. In order for the family to survive, for their lands to be spared, and for the family to live in peace, Judah must go out and fight the dragon. Judah must prove, as so many have done before him, that our race is worthy of holding a place in this world. If Judah can not prove this to the dragon, it will eventually destroy the lands. Judah is thrust into a world he knows nothing about, a world that tears him apart and leaves him for dead. Samuel believes that this journey is too much for his older brother and he has decided to sneak out in the middle of the night and find his brother and bring him back home safely.
