About This Book

A psychopathic killer is murdering street walkers in San Jose. Someone is burying them in the grasses of the South San Francisco Bay. A car wreck in the marsh leads Hooker to find the connection and just how close to home this killer is.

This work examines the mechanism of Multiple Personality Disorder and how the personalities can work together, and yet hate the other.

Book #4 continues the writing theme of showing both sides, (mystery without the 'who done it"). In watching the killer and accomplice, we are allowed and empathy for them through the understanding of their motivations. Explaining the why can get very complicated, but through the power of showing, it becomes easier to understand... and yet still a departure from the aspects of one's own life view.

The story opens with a full view of the first kill by the killer, and her later accomplice placing the street worker under the grass. We view them as two entities--but somehow connected. As the story develops; so does the understanding.
Also through this book, we get a peek into the lives of not only sex workers, but also the still underground lives of the lesbian world. As one character indicates: "don't confuse sex with love;and don't confuse sexual orientation with doing a job to survive."
