Black Magic, an Arabian Stallion

THREE love affairs enveloped in mystery and intrigue, intertwine with one common thread-Black Magic. Jerry Stevens embraces Black Magic as a member of the family. The stallion wins regional honors qualifying him for national completion and catapulting Stevens' farm into a multi-million dollar business. But Stevens' luck falters when a prize Arabian mare is stolen and turmoil besets his Ocala, Florida, farm. He hires Elizabeth Stitchway, a private investigator. Rusty Burns, a spirited young woman-trainer, groomer, dealer of Arabian horses on her Arizona ranch, is driven with desire for fame and fortune-in that order. Her veterinarian, Victor Bennett, wants money, lots of money. A perfect match! They seem to have it all until Rusty's Arabian stallion goes head-to-head against Black Magic at the U.S. National Arabian horse show in Albuquerque. Suddenly the lives of Stevens and Burns begin to crisscross-the two ranches become embroiled in conflict. The question facing Rusty, will her lust to succeed cause her to lose her ranch and all she's worked for?
