Black Death

Grant Dalton's "I work alone" motto is quickly thwarted when the case that Robyn Kyser is working collides with his attempt to apprehend an elusive terrorist. Grant, a Special Taskforce Agent with the Shreveport Police Department and Robyn, a private investigator, examine the evidence gathered at the crime scene, where Dr. Hoffman, a well-known bio-geneticist, is found murdered tying the terrorist to multiple terror plots and assassinations. When Dr. Meacham, an entomologist from Leachman Corporation, explains how she unwittingly assisted Dr. Hoffman in successfully splicing the genes from several insects thereby creating a new ultra-aggressive species capable of transmitting a deadly pathogen, the race is on to stop the terrorist before he can release them on the citizens of New Orleans. Murder, arson, and kidnapping, combined with high speed boat chases in the bayous of Louisiana, have Grant and Robyn pushing their limits in order to apprehend the terrorist while simultaneously tearing down the invisible wall they erected between themselves.
