Borgz searches for the criminals that invaded his starship and kidnapped his alien engineer, Arga'kor.

Nightmonger's crew acquires an alien starship weapon and seeks a power source for it, while also setting up a plan to distract the heroes and to allow them to free some of their imprisoned allies.

An attempt to close one of the "portals" to the dark energy universe has unintended consequences, and puts the heroes in a race to find a means to stop something released from that dimension.

Blake, Metrocity's resident "Master Mage," becomes involved in a series of conflicts with the Goths and Gene Front, and finds a means to put some leverage on the heroes who are regularly "assaulting him."
