Johnny Waits, rock legend, made the ultimate career move - he died at the height of his success. Carla Blue, a fast-rising young star following in his footsteps made the same fatal mistake by drowning in a swimming pool in Spain. Georgina Powers, unemployed computer journalist and Carla's closest friend, hears of the tragedy over the radio in her East London flat, and soon senses that something is wrong - especially when she stumbles across street trader Tommy Levi selling unreleased tapes of both Carla Blue and Johnny Waits.
