Elves alone once beheld the power of magic, but not after innovation and murder. Magic is rapidly spreading throughout the land, and it's bound to cause allies...as well as corruption. Through an audacious journey lead by the elven philosopher Astrild, friendship and ties are made. However, a darkness is brewing that is destined to result in war and the fall of great kingdoms.

While these events become long forgotten, their effects ripple across time. Criminal masterminds are in search of the few items the elves left behind--why, no one is sure. One things is certain: An evil has an insidious plot, and they are willing to take extremes.
