Beginnings

After that disastrous prom night, most of New York is evacuating their homes. No one knows what to expect anymore. Nothing like this could ever have happened to them. Nothing like this could have ever even been thought of as happening. And then, although overlooked by most New York citizens, a second disaster strikes the distressed mother of Derrik Neil when her youngest son falls onto the subway tracks and is ran over by a train. She looks to Blackjack, the best friend of her oldest son, for help to cope with the pain. And that sparks another idea for Blackjack: If he can bring this young child back, what stops him from bringing Alice and Derrik back?
