Before Daylight

Having faced danger together and become friends and lovers, Helen and Patrick understand that nothing between them will ever be simple. Once again, together they must deal with ordinary human evil and not-so-ordinary evil of a not-so-human variety.

The trouble starts with a visit from the family of a woman found murdered on a neighbor's property several years before. It escalates with the discovery of current illegal activity on another neighbor's property. Being distracted by her neighbors' problems, which quickly become her own, Helen is slow to realize that her sister's new boyfriend is much worse than a bad date...
