This is Part two of a three part series about the small town of Honey Point. Alone on the ranch, after the wedding of his eldest brother and his youngest brother leaving to join the marine's. Ben wishes for nothing more than a mate. The problem is, he has a temper and isolates himself by roaming the forest at night. One night, he finds not another bear, but a distressed River Wales injured in her car after a fatal accident. Frightened for her life, he takes her to his near-by cabin. River was escaping her family's demands to marry her unfaithful fiance. She hated the fact that she was being nursed back to health by Ben. She despised the idea of not being mobile. River wasn't used to being looked after, she was a doctor. That was her domain, so she makes life difficult for Ben. Can she let her guard down and let Ben nurse her back to health?
