On July 21, 1861, two great armies assemble near a stream near Manassas, Virginia, called Bull Run in what will be the first official battle of the Civil War. But two small groups from each side become lost and find themselves facing each other on a remote field far from the battlefield. Unable to fight or leave, the two commanders come to the conclusion that a supernatural force has brought them there and given them the opportunity to end the war before it has begun, with a simple game of baseball.
