Banshee

An inn for travelers, solitary refuge in a desolate place, is too often visited by the fairy power of the Bean Sidhe, the banshee who warns of approaching doom.

One of the travelers who arrives at the inn during a winter storm is Anann. She seeks out a darker spirit, the Lianhan Sidhe who lives further on in the forest of Scáth Coille and holds Anann's lover captive. He has come under the spell of this irresistibly beautiful woman of the Aos Sí, the people of the barrows. She is the muse he cannot live without.

But madness will consume him if Anann cannot reach him in time and break the spell.

Her journey comes at a cost, more than she ever imagined.
