There's a strip of land along the South Orange County coastline that's called "The California Riviera." Lavish mansions dot the hillsides, looking out over golden beaches and a glistening aquamarine ocean. It takes money to live here, and lots of it. And where there's money, there's intrigue; and sometimes where there's intrigue, there's murder. That's the dilemma George Davenport steps into when he rescues a local heiress on the verge of suicide. Davenport is an ex-SEAL who manages to live on the outside edges of the good life, keeping a low profile while doing odd jobs for shady characters.
