Avenging Angel

Princess Shiri Parasaea has had more than a few surprises lately. She had expected to return to her own world, kill her despotic father, and take the throne. Instead she finds that things are not exactly as she imagined them to be. Shiri soon realises that her father isn't responsible for all of the terrible things that have been happening on her world, and that her uncle Manasseh has been the real ruler of Taiu for the last thousand years.

With the help of her father and her allies, Shiri finally brings Manasseh close to the brink of defeat, but when she finally confronts him, Shiri finds out the terrible truth about Manasseh – and that revelation could prove to be her downfall. She is forced to escape through a portal back to this world, along with her husband, Craig and his friend, Aris. Once here, they find the portal is locked and to all intents and purposes they are in permanent exile.

When they hear of an horrific massacre in a working men's club in a small Wiltshire village, Shiri, Craig and Aris are forced to face the fact that Manasseh might not be content to rule just Taiu, but has his sights on this world as well.
