Near the end of a war with the goblins, the elves' royal family sends their only heir to America to hibernate until it’s over.

Princess Orainy, her bodyguard, the best healer, and two advisors begin their hibernation at the end of the Civil War. They have chosen Portland, Oregon because a vast forest surrounds it. The spell wanes. The elves awake in modern times. Worse yet, they are next to a gang house that has a huge S.W.A.T. team waiting to spring a trap.
