Ascension

The earth is home to more creatures than meet the human eye. Faeries walk among us, caring for the physical world. Most of humanity cannot see them, years of neglect has caused them to lose “the sight”. Only a few witches remain who can see the faeries who flit among the forests, hills and streams that intersect humanity. Things are changing for the faerie world. A momentous alignment of planets has signaled the need for one queen to step down and another to be raised up in the vast and powerful Eastern Nation. Young faeries, those of noble birth, have been raised in preparation for one day sitting on the governing council of their homeland. One of these girls will be elevated to queen, and will have to rule as great changes occur for all of their kind.
