A's in the Hole

In the small town of Chester Falls, things have gotten a little too quiet around there, lately. Except for everyone's favorite radio show, Chester Radio TODAY!, hosted by the abrupt and decadent Lilac Charleston. One day, Lilac unexpectedly breezes into Olivia Cloud's Bloc-A-Choc Shoppe, nearly demanding a hundred of Olivia's delicious treats for an industry event she's hosting. Shockingly, the day of the big event, darling Lilac turns up dead. As in the last murder case, suspects begin lining up in Chester Falls: Van ‘The Man' Washington, Lilac's biggest on air rival; Violet, her younger sister, a former model who's fallen on hard times; and Hank Abbott, the radio host's former accountant-and former husband. Olivia and intrepid investigator Jake Morgan set out to solve the case-only to be stopped dead in their tracks, by the pushy and somewhat inept Detective Keane. But nothing will stop Jake and Olivia from discovering the truth, about Lilac's murder, the suspects and their true unrequited feelings for one another. In any case, the truth will set everyone free.
