Angel Hour

In the aftermath of his father's suicide, 18-year-old Leonard Thomas feels he has nothing left to lose—at least until a freak accident during a torrential rainstorm causes his car to go flying into a tree. Caught between time and space, Leonard awakens in a beautiful land unlike any he can imagine, within which he feels no pain, and only peace. But when an angelic being appears to turn him away from the golden gates, Leonard is thrust into a world of agony, of pain, and worst of all, grief. Upon returning home from the hospital, Leonard is faced with a long road to recovery: not just physically, but emotionally. With his mother grief stricken, and his own mental illness threatening to consume him, Leonard feels he has no one to turn to. But what he doesn't realize is that a chance reunion with a childhood friend will inspire feelings of not just of hope, but healing, and will ultimately lead him on a journey that will transcend everything he knows about love.
