Angel and Slate

Compared to her sister Linda, Angel's always felt like a second-class citizen, at least in the eyes of her family. And now Linda's wedding's coming up, and Angel doesn't have a date, or even the prospect of one.

But when a friend gives her a business card for Plenty of Shift, things start looking up. She meets with Miri to get things started, and all of a sudden she's given a choice between two sexy shifters: the Grizzly, Slate, and the Wolf, Kai.

In this version of her story, she chooses Slate, the single father of an adorable and mischievous redheaded girl. It doesn't frighten Angel that he's got responsibilities; after all, she's just out for a good time, and he looks like he could use a roll in the hay.
But it doesn't take long to realize that shifters are...special. And add a motherless little girl to the mix, and suddenly life begins to take on new meaning.
Will Angel find love, or will she run away screaming from the chance at a new family?

Maybe she should've chosen the wolf.
But maybe the grizzly is just what she needs.
