Ancient Witches

The Demdike and Chattox families were in competition with one another, both trying to make a living from witchcraft, healing and extortion. After a long intertwined history between the two enemy families of witches, who constantly used their witchcraft against each other, causing harmful intent known as maleficium (causing harm by witchcraft) they became mortal foes. Throughout the centuries, the bad blood between these two rival families increased and intensified. Their fatal feuds and fierce hatred for one another was passed down from generation to generation. It was not over yet, not by a long shot! It is modern day and they are still hurling their powerful spells, hexes and curses at each other.
