An Awfully Lonely Place

Who would want to kill my reclusive uncle Jim? This question infiltrated my mind and wouldn't go away. He wasn't my favorite uncle. As a matter of fact, I didn't like him very much, but I didn't want him dead and I didn't want his killer to get away with murder. In order for me to discover the truth I had to leave Ohio and move to Virginia, and that would take some talking. I would have to convince my mother to go with me. I discovered new family members and deep, dark, hidden secrets that, for all I cared, could have or should have stayed hidden. Were those deep, dark, hidden secrets so terrible that they would become deadly secrets? I found out how deadly those secrets were and nearly lost my life as well as those of the only two friends I had made in my new hometown.
