Welcome to the World Face lands. On Planet Kirean, an Outpost job opening becomes available for one lucky denizen with a tropical plant background. Thrika, a lowly smog line resident, gets a chance to work with real aliens. Her team is an intimidating pack of aliens who graduated from the prestigious extraterrestrial training program known as GUN (Galactic Unity Network) and there is no room for weak links on a search and rescue team. According to the Outpost, several teams were already sent to a planet called Abysmal for top secret reasons, but they all went missing. The rescue team suspects hostile native interference, a possibility they are prepared and trained to neutralize, yet Thrika questions their motives. During a heavy engagement, Thrika is separated from her team. Lost in a violent, alien world, Thrika must rely on street smarts and plant knowhow to unravel and survive a place where the sky is not the sky... ...and the planet has a face.
