All That Are Damned

Spanning thousands of miles and multiple generations, All That Are Damned traces the paths of the scattered souls of the nineteenth century, friends, foes, and strangers, as they all converge in a sleepy Utah town grown restless. The enigmatic narrator investigates his large cast of subjects, including an Irish orphan, a proto-Nietzschean Pole, and a neo-gnostic cult, as he weaves a tapestry of not only the strange world they inhabit, but the innermost chambers of the hearts. As the powers that be tear them down from their ideological high horses, the motley crew of pilgrims is forced to confront what Saint Philip Neri identified as the Four Last Things: Death, Judgement, Heaven, and Hell.
